So many baptised at an early age,I was 15 aswell and baptised at a curcuit assembly at Pontins Holiday camp in Prestatyn in Wales. Great weekend,I got dunked and then straight back in the pool at dinner time for a swim. I knew I was doing right at the time,and even now even though I don't go to meetings I still feel I can serve God in some way.I can't bring myself to go 'fully worldy' for want of a better expression.

trying hard to be tolerant... would much rather hear the music he is practicing to...than just the plain drumming.. his uncle sent him a complete set of ludwigs from the 60's.....now set up in the house........ arrrrrgggg~.

what if people were to go to an assembly, looking exactly like a jw, but behaving like a jw could never get away with?.

pretty interesting read so far, though i'm only about 90 pages into it.
it's about a man who is arrested, but no one will tell him what he's been charged with, or give him any information at all.
Always read Classic Rock magazine every month,but at the moment I'm reading a book called 'Last Shop Standing' by Graham Jones about the demise of record shops in the UK. It's a fascinating read.
one of the things you're not supposed to do as a witness is swear.......but sometimes the definition of what a swear word was went too far.
for example in my family at one point my parents decided for a little while that we should stop saying the word "bum" after having used it forever.
this did not last as a swear word for very long as.........well i mean .....come on!.
No,I don't see the need for it. I've not been a witness for 5 years now and still don't swear,it's just not in me. However I'm not shocked or don't dissa prove of others who do,in fact sometimes it can be really funny,watch Billy Conelly DVD for said effect. I do know several bruvs who swore and that shocked me at the time as these men were supposed to be perfect. Respect meter goes down then!

Last Shop Standing by Graham Jones. It's about the demise of the record shop industry in Britain,with some very funny stories and anecdotes.
It is a shame that downloading and supermarkets have takeb this away from us,record shops were a havan for me in the 70's. Don't download.....find your nearest record shop and buy from them!!!
